A name must consist of two elements: a distinctive (unique) element that cannot be common or popular English words, making it a unique name or a made-up word, and a descriptive element that typically describes the organization. The name may or may not include a suffix (not mandatory), such as "foundation," "association," "institute," "society," etc.

If your intention is to use this name for incorporation (limited liability company), please select one of the legal suffixes. All of them carry the same legal meaning; the choice is purely for appearance. If you plan to use this name for a sole proprietorship, Master Business License, trade name/business name registration, or non-profit organization, please choose the option "none."

Only one or two major activities should suffice. The description can be very brief, ideally limited to a single line.

A NUANS® Report that shows an exact or partial conflict with an existing name will not be acceptable. In such cases, you will need to order a new report using an alternative name. This process will continue until you receive a successful report, which can incur additional costs and time. To avoid this issue, the government has introduced a pre-search system in the name database.
